Li is the Head of Statistical Programming and Data Science at Alumis. With over 25 years of experience in Biometrics across the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, she has built and led high performing global programming / data science teams spanning early and late-stage development, delivering pivotal trials, regulatory submissions, and multiple product approvals.

Li has led major initiatives to modernize biometrics technology, infrastructure, and operating models—advancing scalable, standards-driven, and automation-enabled analytical frameworks that strengthen efficiency, quality, and regulatory readiness.  Previously at Genentech (a member of the Roche Group), She helped shape the long-term vision of the programming and data science function and played a key role in its transformation. She championed early adoption of open-source strategy and the upskilling of analytical data scientists in modern computational tools and reproducible workflows.

Passionate about the evolving role of data science in drug development, Li integrates regulatory rigor with technological innovation and strategic foresight. She brings the discipline of large pharma together with the agility required in emerging biotech, driving impact at the intersection of data science, clinical development, and organizational evolution.
