Dear BBSW community,

In response to last year’s overwhelming success of the inaugural poster session, we are excited to continue the poster session as part of this year’s BBSW conference program (Foster City, CA on October 24-25). This will be an excellent opportunity to showcase your work while networking with other attendees. So if you have something interesting that you’d like to share or wish to make a splash beyond simply attending the conference, we strongly invite you to submit an abstract. Topics related to our conference theme “Embracing Change and Shaping the Future”, planned sessions (see below), other topics in biostatistics and programming, or the general spirit of BBSW (expanding leadership/presence in data science) are welcomed, as are encore posters.

Awards: A “people’s choice poster” will be voted by the attendees and announced on Day 2.

More on BBSW and the conference: Bay area Biotech-pharma Statistics Workshop (BBSW) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to promote connection, leadership, growth and impact of the statistics and quantitative science community in the San Francisco Bay Area. Each year, BBSW organizes a flagship conference that attracts 200+ local professionals and 20+ organizations. This year’s BBSW Conference “Embracing Change and Shaping the Future” will be held on October 24-25 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Foster City, CA. Planned sessions include:
