Anqi zhu

Anqi is a Principal Biostatistician at Genentech, where she lead the data science team on multiple Phase I/II programs in immunology and ophthalmology, and partners across functions on clinical development strategies. She also leads the development of AI strategy/solution for early clinical development, mainly focusing on incorporating established methods into Agentic AI. Outside of work, Anqi is active in the BBSW community: joined the meetup team in 2020, contributing to Project YODA and NEXUS, and now leading the meetup team.

Jeni Zhou

Jeni Zhou has been serving on the BBSW Meetup Organizing Team since 2021, contributing to event planning and community engagement. She is passionate about building an inclusive professional network for biostatisticians and fostering mentorship across career stages. Jeni holds a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota and has worked in clinical development at Amgen, Gilead, and BeOne Medicines. Her interests include statistical innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and supporting the growth of the biostatistics community.

Jie LIU

Jie is a clinical statistician with over eight years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on oncology clinical trials. She enjoys designing clinical trials, working with complex data, and helping turn results into insights that support drug development. She is passionate about contributing to cancer research through thoughtful, data-driven work. Outside of work, she likes running, cooking, and exploring new restaurants.
